Added ½ tsp Montreal chicken seasoning to the spice blend. Cooked on the bbq, otherwise prepped to recipe. Buttered the tortillas with Trader Joe's chipotle salsa before filling. This was a very easy summer supper. Loved the flavors.

This is outstanding in my book. I added some lime juice to the cooked chicken. I did not have a mango so used a teaspoon of jalapeno jelly to the salsa along with some corn. Will make this again and again. I think I will add black beans to the salsa along with the corn next time...

I didn't really care for the spice rub. I think it was the onion powder it just didn't work for me. I would consider making the mango salsa again.

Very quick, easy recipe. Tastes fresh, yet satisfying. I chose to grill the chicken because I find it easier. Would definitely make it again.

Fantastic recipe for a new twist on taco night. The mango avocado salsa is delicious, and really compliments all of the flavors in the dish. Warm up the corn tortillas just before serving, and have chips on hand for extra salsa. Enjoy!

gave this one 4 stars, assuming the "special occasion" is a football game party or something. It's a good keeper in the family rotation too. Used hard taco (fewer calories than the soft ones) but otherwise followed it close. Served with yellow rice (made with sofrito and added some andouille) and a Tecate. The salsa and rub were both hits

Very good and very easy. The salsa could be eaten alone with chips.

This was one of the best taco recipes I've ever made. I did subtitute ground chicken for the breasts, but other than that I stuck to the recipe. The mango-avocado salsa was out of this world! This is my new go-to taco recipe.

As advertised, this took very little time to make. My family of five (including 3 under 6) devoured it and insisted this be added to the regular rotation. Next time, we'll be sure to serve with some refried beans.

The mango-avocado salsa was absolutely wonderful. Did not like the spice rub at all. Bought some cajun seasoning and I use that now for the dish. (use fish instead of chicken sometimes too) I now make this dish regularly.

This was a very tasty recipe and quick and easy if you like to chop. I don't usually cook chicken on the stovetop but it turned out to be one of the best chicken dishes I've made.

I thought this was good and satisfying. However, I wasn't crazy about it. The mango was a nice twist on the salsa and fun for something different, but I'm not sure I liked it so much that I'd try it again.

Tacos, the world's perfect food. I love this recipe. The salsa is fresh and delicious. The chicken is flavorful without having to marinate saving lots of time. Try sprinkling with a little queso fresco. Yum.

I've had similar salsas before and enjoyed them, however, I'd make it ahead and let it sit a while. I didn't care for the spice rub. Too bland tasting to me!

Made this for a quick dinner and it turned out to be the best tacos in the world. Ended up making the recipe 3 times in 2 days. Last night had the tacos....I just had store bought roast chicken, shredded the meat into a pan and added garlic, cumin, cayenne, paprika, salt & pepper to taste.....and it was yummy. Then, I decided to have the salsa with seared scallops and that was a "to die for" dish. This is definitely a "keeper"....my kids and grandkids love it.

this is great. i now make this salsa all the time, and get tons of compliments. the chicken is great, although all the spices end up creating a tear-gas effect, so i don't make it when we're having friends over.

DELICIOUS!! Perfect healthy summer meal. We used crispy taco shells instead of soft tortillas. but I'm sure either would be great. Highly recommended!

Love this recipe! I grilled the chicken and skipped the corn tortillas. I used a whole mango, whole avocado, half a jalapeno and half orange cherry tomatoes and half roma tomatoes. Wish i would have doubled the salsa, it was delicious over the grilled chicken!

I thought this recipe was good. I did however increase the paprika to about 1 - 2 Tbls, and used 1/2 tsp of chipotle powder, used pam and cooked in oven 425 deg for about 30 -40 min depending on how large the breasts are. I also salted the salsa, and used about 1 tsp of honey.

This was awesome! I shredded the meat off 2 pre-cooked rotisserie chickens and doubled the salsa recipe for 3 adults and 2 kids and had some leftover for lunch the next day! We will be having this again! :)

The rub was nothing special, but the overall dish with the salsa was extremely tasty. Worked very well for a hot summer evening. Very fresh and not weighted down by heavier items like cheese (which are usually my favorite part, but i didnt miss at all). Next time i might experiment with the rub a bit, and i will use less cilantro - it was a little too much. We didn't have any left to try, but i bet the salsa would go well with chips as an afternoon snack.

This dish was very tasty and easy to make. I added sour cream, shredded lettuce and cheddar cheese to the tacos.

I made this last night! I thought I had more of the stuff at home, when I got home I realized I didn't but I'd go without-- so I cut the onion out, subbed the mango for pineapple, and voila! Delicious, easy, inexpensive, and heart healthy. I cut out the salt too. I added a 1/2 cup of black beans as a side dish. Oh I doubled the jalapeno serving too--I love my food spicy. I have dubbed this Fresh Mex!! Note: I recommend getting very thin cut chicken breasts so they cook through quicker. Rather than separate the ingredients, I actually poured the other toppings on top of the cooked chicken and let it simmer together for about 5 minutes.

Dang, these are great. I cooked the chicken on our Traeger grill. I used jarred mango slices to save a little time. Very refreshing; the whole family loved it. Adding to our regular rotation.

I made this exactly as the recipe called, except without Jalepeno (and added a touch of cayenne pepper to the chicken). I thought the flavors were alright, but the tacos overall were a little dry for me. Felt like it needed a sauce. The salsa comes out more like a pico de gallo so there isn't a lot of juice from it. I'd take itsmeerikat's recommendation and simmer the salsa with the chicken for a few minutes mix up some juicier flavors. To sum up, I'd make the chicken and salsa again for separate things, but as the sole ingredients of tacos they didn't satisfy me.

These tacos are very good and easy to make. I bought the already prepared mango in a jar which was a little too juicy so it made the salsa a little mushy but overall, the tacos were very tasty. I also bought the prepared pico de gallo which made it even easier.

These are good tacos; not the best I've ever made, but good. I served with mex. rice and black beans.

This was probably the best chicken taco recipe I've made from this site. I basically made it as written but made a couple of small changes. I doubled the spice mixture and used smoked hot paprika instead of the regular paprika and omitted the red pepper. I then sliced the chicken and tossed it in the spice mixture so more pieces were coated. I also chopped the chicken into small pieces which we find easier to handle in the tortilla. I will definitely make this one again!
