- 1 cup(s) flour
- 2 teaspoon(s) baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon(s) salt
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup(s) milk
- 2 tablespoon(s) oil
- 1 whole(s) Chicken
- Chicken - Cook whole chicken in crockpot for 6-10 hrs. When cooked, remove skin, bone and cartilage and return to crockpot. Mix chicken stock and water and add to pot until soupy. Thicken with flour to desired consistency. Add salt and pepper to taste.
- Dumplings - Mix ingredients and divide into four dumplings on top of chicken. Cook with top on at 4 hour setting for 45 minutes or until top of dumplings brown.
