This chicken marsala tasted like I ordered it at a restaurant! It was amazing!! I actually used can mushrooms instead of the various types of dried mushrooms and loved it! When I first saw that they suggested mashed potatoes, I was a little hesitant, but after trying it, I love it and think it soaks up the sauce better than pasta. My boyfriend was very impressed and I will definitely add it to my recipe box.

I made this for a dinner party, and it was a huge hit! The dash of red pepper flakes gives it the little extra that make everyone take notice.

This was good but it seemed like it was missing a little something. I also thought there would be a little more sauce. I will def make again and maybe add some Umami paste to boost the flavor a little. Might even use a little of the water from reconstituting the mushrooms.

Excellent results. Fabulous flavor. I used some mini-bow tie pasta instead of mashed potatoes. Highly recommend

Although I made this dish with a couple substitutions, it still came out wonderful. I could not find shiitake mushroom caps so just left them out; no Marsala in the house so used pinot noir that was already opened. I served it with wide egg noodles and sauteed green beans on the side. Very tasty and my husband really liked it so it's a keeper.

Great recipe. The red pepper flakes were a bit too spicy so next time I'll only add a sprinkle. No one in my family likes chicken breasts so I used boneless skinless thighs instead. Very good. The sauce was great but I added more broth because it's so great on mashed potatoes.

This was very, very good! I served it on top of mashed potatoes. Next time I would add a few more of tomatoes, they really complimented the taste.

This dish is a true 5 star. I made this the other day for my boyfriend. I couldn't find the Paricini mushrooms so that was the only thing left out of my dish, everything else I made the same including a side dish of mashed potatoes. This was so DELISH - I will definitely do this dish again. IF YOU LOVE MUSHROOMS - This was a unique blend of flavors from the mushrooms to tomatoes to the sauce it was absolutely YUM! Made exactly as written and it was delicious! Would not change a thing about the recipe. Served with mashed potatoes and a green salad

This recipe is simply delicious. Also, so easy to make for weeknight dinner, and yet, fancy enough for guests! Must try!

I topped the chicken with capers before serving. I also omitted the tomatoes. Awesome!

Very good. After spending a small fortune on mushrooms, I couldn't bring myself to pay $3 more for basil. (Not garden season) I had fresh sage, so I toasted it in butter and crumbled it on top. OMG it made a great recipe amazing! And I used the liquid from reconstituting the porcinis, just a little less broth. I left out the tomatoes; just didn't seem that they belonged.
