  • 2 pound(s) Tomatillos coarsely chopped
  • 2 tablespoon(s) Vegetable oil
  • 1 white or yellow onions Small dice
  • 2 Jalapeño peppers Small dice
  • Garlic clove Minced
  • coarse salt and ground pepper
  • 12 corn tortillas
  • 2 chicken breasts Cooked and shredded
  • 3 tablespoon(s) sour cream
  • cotija cheese Crumbled


  1. preheat oven 400. Purre tomatillos. Cook onions and jalapenos 8 minutes, add garlic cook for 30 seconds add puree,simmer for 10 minutes and season. Warm tortillas, fill with chicken,fold in half,put in 9 by 13 pan. Top with tomatillos sauce,cover with foil, bake 25 to 30 minutes. Top with sour cream cilantro and cheese
