Ehhh... This was alright, but nothing special. I thought it was a bit bland. Like another reader said, the mayo wasn't anything special and I didn't really care for the prevalence of corn tortilla flavor in the burgers. Personally I didn't think it was that difficult to make and a simple mixed green salad with some cilantro-lime vinaigrette that I bought from Whole Foods was a fine accompaniment. It's a filling sandwich. However, I wouldn't make this again - with so many other good burger recipes out there, this one just isn't worth my time, money, or effort.

I really like this recipe for a change of pace. I swapped the corn tortillas for flour (despite the nutritional difference it makes) and liked this recipe MUCH better. It is one of my kid's favorites. I agree that the mayo is nothing special. I prefer to just slice and avocado and put the slices on the burger whole. Guacamole is better than the mayo for this burger. I make this quite regularly.

This was yummy with a little tweaking. The burgers themselves were delicious, but we amped up the sauce using 1 part green onion, 1 part cilantro, 1 part mayo, and lime to taste. The sauce was packed with flavor, and some sliced avocado on top was the finishing touch.
