If roasted chicken is only available in whole form, you can freeze the remainder for other uses. Freeze chicken in an airtight container for up to three months. Be sure to remove all visible fat and skin from the chicken before using it in recipes.
1 ounce roasted chicken breast, skinned and finely chopped
2 tablespoons peeled, grated Granny Smith apple
1 tablespoon Neufcha@Gtel cheese, softened
1 1/2 teaspoons chopped green onions
Dash of garlic powder
10 garlic-flavored Melba rounds
Fresh chives (optional)
How to Make It
Combine first 5 ingredients in a small bowl, stirring well. Spread chicken mixture evenly on Melba rounds. Garnish with fresh chives, if desired.
