Ingredients
- 3 strip(s) bacon
- 1/2 cup(s) diced onion
- 1 can(s) mushrooms 4 oz
- 2 tablespoon(s) butter
- 1/2 cup(s) all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoon(s) salt
- 1/2 teaspoon(s) pepper
- 1 pint(s) half-and-half
- 1 1/3 cup(s) chicken broth
- 1/4 cup(s) mushroom juice
- 1 tablespoon(s) sherry
- 1 package(s) biscuits
Preparation
- Saute the bacon, onion, mushrooms in 2 tablespoons butter. Blend in flour, salt, and pepper and cook until bubbly.
- Remove from heat and stir in half and half, chicken broth, 1/2 cup mushroom juice. Heat to boiling stirring constantly. Sir in the chicken. Freeze
- When thawed, heat until bubbly and serve on biscuits
