- 1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened
- 2 cups sugar
- 4 eggs
- 2 tablespoons plus 1 1/2 teaspoons all-purpose flour
- 2/3 cup buttermilk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
- 20 unbaked (2 3/4-inch) tart shells
How to Make It
Cream butter in a large mixing bowl; gradually add sugar, beating well. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Add flour, buttermilk, vanilla, and salt, mixing well.
Spoon 1/4 cup filling into each tart shell. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.
