Cherry Tomato-Caper Salad

Yield 4 servings


  • 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon drained small capers
  • 4 teaspoons olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 teaspoon pint cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 6 fresh basil leaves, shredded
  • Bibb lettuce leaves (optional)

How to Make It

  1. Combine first 4 ingredients. Drizzle over cherry tomatoes, tossing to coat. Let stand at least 15 minutes or up to 1 hour. Sprinkle with basil. Serve over Bibb lettuce, if desired.
