  • 8 (1/2-inch-thick) diagonally-cut baguette slices
  • 2 garlic cloves, halved lengthwise
  • 1 large plum tomato, cut diagonally into 8 slices
  • 1/4 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese


  1. 1. Preheat oven to 450°.
  2. 2. Arrange baguette slices on a baking sheet. Rub cut surfaces of garlic over both sides of bread. Place 1 tomato slice on each; sprinkle evenly with cheese. Bake at 450° for 5 minutes or until cheese melts.
