- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 cups extra-sharp Cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 6 tablespoons ice water
- 1 cup butter, softened
- Combine all ingredients in a food processor or heavy-duty mixer; chill.
- Roll out to 1/4-inch thickness; cut into 2"x1/2" strips. Arrange on ungreased baking sheets; bake at 350° for 10 to 12 minutes.
