2 cups all-purpose flour
2 cups extra-sharp Cheddar cheese, shredded
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
6 tablespoons ice water
1 cup butter, softened
Combine all ingredients in a food processor or heavy-duty mixer; chill.
