Ingredients
- 1 cup(s) Pre-shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup(s) Flour
- 1/2 stick(s) Butter
- 24 Pimento stuffed green olives
Preparation
- 1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F
- 2. Put cheese, flour, and butter in a bowl and mix with hands untill dough is uniform (you should not be able to see any butter pieces in the dough)
- 3. Divide the dough into 24 pieces and roll the pieces into balls with your hands
- 4. Working with one ball of dough at a time, flatten the ball into a disc and place one olive in the center of the disc
- 5. Wrap the dough completely around the olive sealing the edges
- 6. Roll olive-filled dough into a ball with your hands and repeat process to make 24 puffs
- 7. Place the uncooked puffs on an ungreased baking sheet at bake for about 15 minutes or until balls are a deep golden brown
- 8. Remove puff from baking sheet onto a wire rack and cool 5 minutes before serving
