How to Make It

Step 1

Remove crust from bread; cut bread into cubes, and toss with melted butter. Place half of bread cubes in a greased 2- quart baking dish. Sprinkle half of cheese over bread cubes. Repeat procedure with remaining bread cubes and cheese.

Step 2

Combine remaining ingredients; beat well. Pour over top of casserole. Chill overnight.

Step 3

Bake at 325° for 1 hour and 10 minutes or until lightly browned. Serve warm, and garnish with parsley sprigs, if desired.
