Ingredients
- 4 medium potatoes cubed
- 1 large onion, diced
- 1 quart(s) boiling water
- 4 tablespoon(s) butter
- parsley
- 3 tablespoon(s) flour
- 1/2 cup(s) milk
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup(s) cheddar cheese, shredded
Preparation
- Peel and dice potatoes and onion. Simmer in boiling water until tender. Melt butter in skillet. add flour and heat slowly until it bubbles. Stir in milk and continue cooking and stirring until thickened. Stir in potato-onion-water mixture and bring slowly to a boil, stirring. add cheese. Simmer until thickened. Season with spices.
