Yield: one 9- inch pie
- 5 cups thinly sliced, unpeeled cooking apples
- 2/3 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 3/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- Dash of salt
- Cheese Pastry
- Streusel Topping
- Combine apples, sugar, flour, cinnamon, and salt; mix well.
- Spoon filling evenly into Cheese Pastry shell, and sprinkle with Streusel Topping. Bake at 425° for 30 minutes or until lightly browned.
