This is a delicious casserole that's simple to make. It's creamy with just the right amount of cheese, and baking adds a final golden touch to the top.

We're fans of cheese grits, and I have tried many recipes over the years. This is now our favorite. It has just the right balance of flavors. Rich and creamy. The Parmesan adds a nice touch, too.

My daughter-in-law just made these for our family breakfast and they are most delicious, I can't wait to make them for myself and my husband !

great!...added 1/4 t. ground red pepper. Served with Spice-crusted shrimp/Remoulade, this site....perfect meal. Can do ahead and chill overnite. Baked some next day with bacon bits on top - excellent breakfast.

Outstanding. I mixed in cooked, crumbled sausage prior to baking to give it a little more bulk for a brunch event, but this recipe is perfect without changing a thing. Would make a fantastic base for shrimp and grits.

This is the best side dish ever. My husband could not get enough!

I revised slightly to make this on the stove top - I added a spoon of sour cream (to a 1/3-sized recipe) while the grits were cooking, then simply stirred in the cheddar cheese, S&P, parm, and also a torn up slice of white American cheese. Let sit for a minute or two to set up a little bit. When I tasted them they were "happy dance" good!
