We're fans of cheese grits, and I have tried many recipes over the years. This is now our favorite. It has just the right balance of flavors. Rich and creamy. The Parmesan adds a nice touch, too.

great!...added 1/4 t. ground red pepper. Served with Spice-crusted shrimp/Remoulade, this site....perfect meal. Can do ahead and chill overnite. Baked some next day with bacon bits on top - excellent breakfast.

Outstanding. I mixed in cooked, crumbled sausage prior to baking to give it a little more bulk for a brunch event, but this recipe is perfect without changing a thing. Would make a fantastic base for shrimp and grits.
