The flavors in this salad recipe are perfect and excellent as is. I would not add or change anything. I think adding nuts would turn the flavor into something too familiar and dull the zestiness of parsley-celery-apple combination. As many have stated in their reviews, this is a refreshing salad. I would double this recipe to bring for potluck. It kept well for next day. We wished we had more!
