Cedar-Infused Tequila adds smoky flavor to a margarita.

Makes about 3 cups

Recipe from

Southern Living

6 cedar grilling papers, broken into pieces
1 (750-milliliter) bottle white or gold tequila

Place grilling paper pieces in a 1-qt. jar. Pour in tequila. Cover and let stand at room temperature 2 to 4 days. (The longer it sits, the more intense the cedar flavor.) Pour tequila through a fine wire-mesh strainer lined with a coffee filter or cheesecloth into a clean 1-qt. jar. Refrigerate, covered, up to 3 months.
