Caramelized Cherry Lavender Dessert

  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 3 tablespoons packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried culinary lavender
  • 2 cups pitted cherries
  • Fresh lemon juice
  • Angel food cake
  • Toasted sliced almonds

How to Make It

  1. Melt butter in a large frying pan over medium-high heat. Add brown sugar, lavender, cherries, and a squeeze of fresh lemon juice. Simmer until cherries are warm. Spoon over sliced angel food cake with a few toasted sliced almonds.
