Caramelized Bananas

Yield 1 1/4 cups


  • 4 medium-size bananas
  • 1/2 cup firmly packed light brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup butter or margarine

How to Make It

  1. Cut bananas diagonally into 1/3-inch-thick slices.

  2. Cook brown sugar and butter over high heat in a small skillet, stirring constantly, 5 minutes or until thickened. Remove from heat; stir in banana. Cool.
