Caramel Toast

Caramel Toast

Overnight French Toast

  • Yield: 10 servings

Ingredients

  • 1 cup(s) brown sugar
  • 1 stick(s) butter Melted
  • 3 teaspoon(s) white syrup
  • 6 eggs
  • 1 1/2 cup(s) milk
  • 1 teaspoon(s) vanilla
  • cinammon to taste
  • sourdough bread enough to cover bottom of baking dish

Preparation

Melt butter, brown sugar and syrup in a small pan. Whisk until butter is melted. Pour in a 9x13 baking dish. Place bread in pan in a single layer. Whisk eggs, milk and vanilla together. Pour over bread. Sprinkle cinnamon on top. Cover with foil and refridgerate overnight. Uncover and bake on 350 for 45 minutes.
