Caramel-Orange Sauce

Yield Makes 1 1/4 cups
Orange liqueur gives Caramel-Orange Sauce its punch. We drizzle this luscious sauce over our Lemon-Coconut Angel Food Cake.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup firmly packed light brown sugar
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 2 tablespoons orange liqueur

How to Make It

  1. Combine first 3 ingredients in a saucepan over medium heat. Simmer, stirring often, 10 minutes. Stir in liqueur.
