Caramel-Orange Sauce

Orange liqueur gives Caramel-Orange Sauce its punch. We drizzle this luscious sauce over our Lemon-Coconut Angel Food Cake.

Makes 1 1/4 cups

Ingredients

1 cup firmly packed light brown sugar
4 tablespoons butter
1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
2 tablespoons orange liqueur

Preparation

Combine first 3 ingredients in a saucepan over medium heat. Simmer, stirring often, 10 minutes. Stir in liqueur.
