Fabulous cake with outstanding presentation! I made it when I hosted bunco, and everyone loved it. I did not coat the outside of the cake with toasted coconut, but I did use coconut in the cake batter. My husband is NOT a fan of coconut, so I didn't tell him it was in the cake until after he ate it and liked it. I am definitely making this cake again.

this is a outstanding cake. i made this last sunday for lunch. it was a huge hit. everybody love it including our picking son. to make it easier i premeasured all the dry ingredients the day before. i also used butter & pure vanilla. i will make this cake again.

This cake tastes great. One major adjustment I had to make was the baking time. I had to bake it over 60 minutes vs. the 25 minutes the recipe says. I also had to add 2/3 cup of corn starch instead of the 1/3 cup the cream filling recipe calls for otherwise the cream was too soft. At the end however this was a success!!

Phenominal cake! Delicious carmel taste! Made a 4 layer square cake, turned out beautiful. Kids and everyone loved it.

This cake is marvelous! I made it exactly as the recipe says and everything turned out great. I will definitely make it again.

I made this cake for Christmas. It was good, but I think I'll tweak the recipe a bit before making it again. It seemed to be missing something. Perhaps adding pecans to the filling would help and substituting whipped cream frosting in place of the cream cheese frosting. I'll have to experiment. Overall it wasgood.
