I had my doubts when I put it in the oven. The batter was thick and there were a lot of apples showing. It looked like it was going to be dry. But it was delicious! My daughter took a bite and said "This is my next birthday cake!"

- Prepare Fresh Apple Cake batter, and bake as directed. Cool on a wire rack 10 minutes. Omit frosting. Spread Caramel Glaze over cake, and cool 30 minutes. Sprinkle with remaining 1/2 cup pecans. Spoon this super-moist cake out of the pan, cobbler-style, and serve with ice cream.
