  • 1 baguette
  • 2 tablespoon(s) dry sherry
  • 1 teaspoon(s) fresh thyme
  • 4 clove(s) garlic
  • 1/4 cup(s) olive oil
  • 6 onions, sliced
  • 1 teaspoon(s) pepper
  • 8 cup(s) vegetable stock


  1. cook onions and garlic in oil for 25 minutes. Add broth and seasonings. Cook 20 minutes. Broil bread. Add soup, top with cheese and broil.
