Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup plus 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup plus 2 tablespoons capon pan drippings
  • 2 cups milk
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Preparation

  1. Brown flour in a skillet over medium heat; stir in pan drippings to form a smooth paste. Gradually add milk. Cook, stirring constantly, until thickened and bubbly. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Serve as a side dish.
