- 1/4 cup(s) water
- 3/4 cup(s) sugar
- 2 whole(s) lemons, limes, and grapfruits, sliced thin
- In large skillet combine ¼ C water and ¾ C sugar; bring to boiling. Cut strips of peel from lemons or limes. With spoon scrape away white pith. Cut into thin strips and simmer gently, uncovered for 1-2 min or until softened. Transfer to rack cool
