California Burgers

    The burger was plain. The sauce reminded me of seafood cocktail sauce. I prefer the Teriyaki Burger by far!

    I was looking for a recipe for burgers that did not use beerf and came across this one. My family loved these. I only used 2 lbs. of ground turkey meat. I didn't bother with distingushing between white and dark meat. I used the same proportions the recipe called for even though I used less meat. I did not use the sauce. I served these with my family's condiments of choice which included mustard, teriyaki sauce and BBQ sauce. The sprouts and avocado were big contributors to the overall ressult. We added tomatoes and left off the pickles and onions. I think this is the type of recipe that you need to modify based on how you like your burgers. I have now made these several times for many different family members and friends and they always get good reviews.
