Cajun Butter

Makes 8 servings

Give butter a Cajun flavor twist with this spice up recipe. 


  • 6 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 3 tablespoons finely chopped onion
  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped red bell pepper
  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped celery
  • 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro leaves

How to Make It

  1. Melt 6 tablespoons butter in a small skillet over medium heat. Add onion, bell pepper, celery, and Cajun seasoning; cook 5 minutes, stirring frequently. Remove skillet from heat; add 2 tablespoons butter. Transfer mixture to a mini food processor, and process until smooth. Let cool to room temp­erature. (Sprinkle corn with cilantro leaves before serving.)
