  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 2 teaspoons paprika
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground red pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 1/2 pounds large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • Cooking spray


  1. Combine first 8 ingredients in a large heavy-duty, zip-top plastic bag. Add shrimp. Seal bag; shake to coat. Let stand 5 minutes.
  2. Remove shrimp from bag, discard seasoning mixture. Thread shrimp onto 4 skewers. Place skewers on grill rack coated with cooking spray; grill over medium-hot coals (350° to 400°) 3 minutes on each side or until done.
