For those who like more of a coffee flavor I would recommend reducing the amount of milk by half. I didn't follow the directions and instead kept the liquid in a metal bowl and every hour or so I'd scrape my fork across the ice to create the large granita flakes. Ingredients
- 3 cups hot strong brewed coffee
- 3 cups 1% low-fat milk
- 1/2 cup sugar
Preparation
- Combine all ingredients in a pitcher; stir until sugar dissolves. Pour into ice cube trays; freeze 4 hours or until firm.
- Let stand at room temperature 10 minutes. Place the frozen cubes in a food processor; process until smooth. Spoon into chilled dishes; serve immediately.
