Our Mini Fig Cakes glisten with warmed Buttermilk Glaze that's drizzled over the top of each one.
Makes about 3/4 cup
Total time: 20 Minutes
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 cup buttermilk
4 tablespoons butter
2 teaspoons cornstarch
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1. Bring sugar and next 4 ingredients to a boil in a small saucepan over medium heat, stirring often.
2. Immediately remove mixture from heat, and cool 10 minutes. Stir in vanilla.
