Melt butter in a Dutch oven over medium heat; add garlic, and sauté 1 minute. Add buttermilk and next 3 ingredients. Cook, stirring constantly, 5 minutes or until thoroughly heated. Stir in potatoes until smooth.
Note: For testing purposes only, we used Ore-Ida Mashed Potatoes.
Way too runny! Taste was good. My family thought that it was soup! Next time I will use less milk initially, and add it as I cook. Nice touch with the buttermilk. Will use this when I make "normal" mashed potatoes from scratch.
