Buttermilk-Chive Dressing

You can lighten this recipe by using nonfat buttermilk and light mayonnaise.

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup buttermilk
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh chives
  • 1 tablespoon minced green onion
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground pepper

Preparation

  1. 1. Whisk together all ingredients. Cover and chill until ready to use. Dressing may be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator up to 3 days.
