- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup butter milk
- 1 tablespoon light corn syrup
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 tablespoon butter, softened
How to Make It
Combine first 4 ingredients in a medium saucepan. Cook over medium heat, stirring frequently, until mixture comes to a boil. Boil 3 minutes or until syrup mixture reaches 220°, stirring constantly. Remove from heat, and stir in butter. Cool.
Beat on medium speed of electric mixer about 5 minutes or until thick enough to spread.
