Butter Frosting

Yield enough frosting for 3 1/2 dozen miniature cream puffs


  • 1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened
  • 2 tablespoons plus 2 teaspoons milk
  • 4 cups sifted powdered sugar
  • Green, purple, and orange paste food coloring

How to Make It

  1. Cream butter; add milk, mixing well. Gradually add sugar, beating well. Divide frosting into thirds. Add food coloring to each portion to desired color.
