This was a great way to use up a ton of grape tomatoes from our garden. I preferred to blanch the tomatoes first to remove the skins (they separate right in the pan and I just pull them out with a fork). Delicious, would be great appetizer for company.

This recipe turned out pretty good for me. I served this as an appetizer. 10 minutes seemed like a long time to heat the tomato mixture and after 8 minutes my basil was not looking anything like the uncooked basil in photo. The flavor was perfect. The bread grilled in a little olive oil was also very good.
