1/3 cup white balsamic vinegar
1 large shallot, minced
2 tablespoons light brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon freshly ground pepper
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/3 cup olive oil


Whisk together white balsamic vinegar, minced shallot, light brown sugar, freshly ground pepper, vanilla, and salt in a small bowl. Add olive oil in a slow, steady stream, whisking constantly until smooth.
