Dress up your favorite sandwiches with a slathering of Brown Sugar-Pecan-Mustard Butter. With only 4 ingredients, this homemade mustard butter is quick to stir together and tastier than any store-bought version.
1/2 cup pecan halves
1/2 cup butter, softened
1 tablespoon brown sugar
3 tablespoons Dijon mustard
How to Make It
Preheat oven to 350°. Bake pecans in a single layer in a shallow pan 6 to 8 minutes or until toasted and fragrant, stirring halfway through. Cool 10 minutes. Pulse in a food processor until finely ground.
Stir together butter and next 2 ingredients until sugar dissolves. Stir in ground pecans. Serve immediately, or chill until ready to serve. Let stand at room temperature 20 minutes before serving.
