- 1 cup firmly packed brown sugar
- 1/2 cup butter or margarine
- 1/2 cup evaporated milk
How to Make It
Combine all ingredients in a medium saucepan; cook over medium heat, stirring frequently, until mixture comes to a boil and sugar is dissolved. Continue cooking, stirring constantly, until mixture reaches soft ball stage (240°). Remove from heat, and beat about 5 minutes or until thick enough to spread.
