Brown Sugar Applesauce
Make this 5-ingredient Brown Sugar Applesauce in your slow-cooker for an easy, fall-flavored snack.
Yield: Makes 6 to 8 servings
- 3 pounds cooking apples, cored, peeled and sliced
- 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 1 1/2 t. lemon juice
- Garnish: cinnamon
- Combine all ingredients in a slow cooker. Cover and cook on high setting for 3 hours.
- Stir occasionally; mash with a potato masher to desired consistency. Sprinkle portions with cinnamon.
