Brown Rice with Sesame

    I made this tonight along with Spicy Basil Chicken and Butter-Roasted Carrots from the same CL issue. What a quick & easy way to fix brown rice, and it went so well with the Spicy Basil Chicken. It is now one of my saved recipes and I'll make it again.

    The tartness from the lime juice works with the rice, which was a bit of a surprise. I also made this with the Spicy Basil Chicken and we enjoyed it thoroughly. You can read my full review at:

    Also made this with the spicy basil chicken. Sauteed snow peas and peppers too. Thought it was a great addition to this meal. Loved the tang the lime gave the rice. Will make again especially when I do kabobs and stiry fry.

    This rice has so much more flavor than I was expecting! My husband who normally hates rice said that he loved it! I will definitely be making this one again.

    this tasted good if you have a bite of the spicy basil chicken with it. By itself, it was strange to have lime in my brown rice. Also, that much lime juice made the rice more 'wet' than I like. I don't think the toasted sesame seeds added anything to the rice.

    Now that is clever! It tastes good. I could eat it just like that, with out any side dish. Sesame is rich in iron and calcium and is extremly good for health...
