- 8 medium tomatoes
- 2 tablespoons plus 2 teaspoons butter or margarine
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
How to Make It
Remove stems from tomatoes. Cut a 1/4-inch slice from top of each. Place 1 teaspoon butter on top of each tomato; sprinkle with salt, pepper, and cheese. Broil 5 minutes, 4 inches from heat.
