Rinse fish thoroughly in cold water; pat dry. Rub fish inside and out with olive oil, salt, and pepper.
Place fish on lightly greased rack in a broiler pan. Broil 6 to 7 inches from heating element 5 minutes on each side or until fish flakes easily when tested with a fork.
Transfer fish to a warm serving platter; garnish with lemon slices. Serve immediately with Maître d'hôtel Butter.
