- ground cinnamon
- 4 peeled, fresh pineapple rounds (1/2 inch thick)
- 1 scoop vanilla frozen yogurt
- 1 teaspoon(s) sugar
- 1. Heat broiler, with rack in top position. Place a cast iron or other heavy bottomed ovenproof skillet in oven to heat, 5 minutes. Carefully place pineapple in hot skillet. Sprinkle each slice with cinnamon and sugar. Broil until edges turn golden, about 8 minutes, rotating skillet as needed.
- 2. Serve warm or at room temperature, topped with frozen yogurt and dash of cinnamon.
