- 12 large fresh mushrooms, cleaned
- 2 tablespoons butter or margarine, softened
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 12 slices bread, cut into 2 1/2-inch rounds and toasted
- Chopped fresh parsley
How to Make It
Remove mushroom stems, and reserve for another recipe. Place mushroom caps, top side down, in a shallow baking dish.
Combine butter and garlic powder; blend well. Dot each mushroom with butter mixture.
Broil 4 inches from heat about 5 minutes. Place on toast rounds, and garnish with parsley. Serve immediately.
