We loved this- the warm topping to the steak was a great compliment. Add some basil.

Worthy of a special summer bbq. Bought a more tender cut of beef that was on sale & cooked to medium-rare outdoors, otherwise made to recipe. Plated a piece of grilled red onion, then the sliced beef, then the tomato. Served with simply steamed green beans. Gorgeous presentation, great summer flavors.

Very good recipe. I slightly over cooked the meat. I cooked for 20 mins as per other reviews suggestions, next time maybe only 15 mins. I added some leftover corn kernels to the tomato and it was really tasty. I served it with a rice pilaf mix.

This was much better than I expected. I was able to put together the dinner in 30 minutes. I couldn't believe how good the steak tasted, for flank steak!

I made this last night for my husband and a friend of his who stayed for dinner, and the recipe got rave reviews from them! It was easy to make and very good. I served it with orzo mixed with some spinach, as others had suggested. The tomato topping complemented the steak wonderfully. I followed the recipe exactly, only the meat took a little longer to be done.

We grill flank steak all the time and the warm tomato topping really added to the flavor. The jalapeno residue was on my fingertips for days after. Made putting in contacts a little painful.

I love, love, LOVE the tomato mixture! I like spicy foods, but my jalepeno was a little hotter than usual so this dish was on fire. But, DELICIOUS! I couldn't find flank steak at my grocery store and so I subbed another (probably slightly cheaper) cut, and it was still very good. I would serve this to friends, but with a better cut than is called for. Anyway. So good!

This is a great, quick recipe. I have served it at big family get events and at Sunday dinner. The whole family loves it.

This was really good. So good that I'm thinking about it the next morning. I actually roasted the tomatoes first and then was afraid they'd be too dry so I added some fresh tomatoes in and they were all perfect and delicious. The only negative I have is that the meat would be so much better grilled, but then I'm not a huge fan of broiling anyway.
