Ingredients

  • 1 pound asparagus, trimmed
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon grated lemon rind
  • 1/2 teaspoon olive oil
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • Cooking spray

Preparation

  1. 1. Preheat broiler.
  2. 2. Combine all ingredients except cooking spray in a large bowl or dish; toss gently to coat.
  3. 3. Place asparagus on a foil-lined baking sheet coated with cooking spray. Broil 3 minutes or until desired degree of doneness.
