I added some raisins and chopped sweet-spicy pecans, and left out the grapes. It was popular at tonight's dinner group. The spice in the nuts provided a nice contrast with the sweetness of the poppyseed dressing. I doubled the recipe, but only used 3/4 cup of dressing.

Have made this several times. Is good recipe for entertaining--pretty presentation. Have used it on casual buffet table for large parties also.

I serve this often in the fall and winter. It is perfect for the season and a crowd-pleaser. I'm usually asked for the recipe. Incidentally, I use sweet vidalia onion dressing as the poppy seed is too sweet for my taste. Ken's makes a low fat version vidalia dressing. I also use mandarin oranges instead of regular oranges - neater, easier. I use fresh, but canned would work also.
